Established in 2018 by Sosie Pasparakis and Ronan Friel, Pasparakis Friel is based in the coastal village of Rathmullan, Co. Donegal. From this rural edge, we offer architecture, urban regeneration, conservation, and interior design services through all stages of design and construction.

Our work is shaped by a strong sense of place and a respect for craft. Each project begins with listening—an open, collaborative process that values context, materiality, and the lived experience of our clients. Whether restoring a historic building or designing a new home, we create spaces that feel grounded, thoughtful, and enduring.

Our architecture is quiet but purposeful—tactile, responsive, and attuned to landscape and life.

Sosie Pasparakis Dipl.-Ing. (FH) MRIAI

Sosie studied at the SRH Heidelberg, Germany. She has been a guest critic at the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London. Prior to founding Pasparakis Friel, Sosie worked for practices in the UK and Germany.

Ronan Friel BSc Dip Arch MRIAI

Ronan studied at the Bartlett School of Architecture at University College London, Technische Universität Graz, Austria and RGU Aberdeen. He has been guest critic at the Architectural Association, London and lectured at The Scott Sutherland School of Architecture, RGU, Aberdeen. Prior to founding Pasparakis Friel, Ronan worked for practices in the UK, USA and Ireland.
